The latest ARC Raiders update is here, and it's a big one, tackling exploits and rebalancing those coveted blueprints!
Hey Raiders!
A brand new update has just dropped, and to get your hands on it, simply restart your game client. We've been hard at work behind the scenes, and this patch brings some significant changes to your gameplay experience.
What's New and What's Fixed:
- Exploit Squashed: We've closed a loophole that allowed players to stash weapons in their safe pockets without needing the Safekeeper Augment. No more sneaky extra inventory slots!
- Snaphook Secured: An issue where the Snaphook could be placed in a safe pocket while it was actively in use has also been resolved. This ensures the tool functions as intended.
- Blueprint Balance Shift: You might notice a slight decrease in the drop rate for rare blueprints. But here's where it gets interesting: we've simultaneously increased the drop rate for high-tier materials within First Wave Caches on the Hurricane map condition.
- Dev Note: The primary driver for this adjustment is that First Wave Caches have been a bit too generous with blueprints, especially considering how efficiently players have been locating and looting them. To bring things back into better balance, we're boosting the availability of superior materials. While you might not snag as many blueprints as before, the quality of the materials you do find will be higher. Don't worry, caches will still be a fantastic source for blueprints, just not to the extent that you could consistently walk away with three to five every single session.
- Dam Controlled Access Zone Hotfix: A quick fix has been implemented for the Dam Controlled Access Zone to address an immediate issue.
- Performance Boost: We've fixed a bug where certain ARC elements were occasionally causing performance slowdowns. Get ready for a smoother ride!
- Quest Completion Unlocked: The final stage of the quest “Worth Your Salt” can now be completed even if another player has already finished it within the same raid. This removes a frustrating roadblock for many.
- Crash Prevention: A rare issue that caused players to crash when accessing the Player Proximity menu has been successfully resolved.
And this is the part most people miss: Do you think this blueprint and material rebalance is a step in the right direction for ARC Raiders? Some might argue that rare blueprints should remain incredibly scarce, while others might feel this change makes the grind for materials more rewarding. What are your thoughts? See you topside!
